alley pond environmental center

a small non profit organization in eastern queens, taking a walk on our trails transports you out of the urban environment we're located in.

we offer a variety of programs for children, families and adults, because we believe that the environmental education of people of all ages is imperative.

we invite anyone to submit posts in regards to sustainability, the environment, urban or otherwise, steps you take to conserve in your life, or anything else you feel might be relevant to our followers.

KNITTING CIRCLE

Join APEC’s very own knitting circle! We welcome knitters, crocheters, or crafters of any kind! Come to show off a new project, share some snacks, or just knit with friends.  Please note that this is a meeting for adults who know how to knit, not a class. Call or e-mail Liz at ext. 200 or emcglinchey@alleypond.com with any questions about the group and let us know if you plan on attending!!  We meet every other Monday evening from 6-8 PM (see dates below), and there will be a fee of $3M/$5NM per meeting.
